Nathan and I love spending time outside, especially during the spring and summer months when the days are longer and we can sit outside in the morning, after work and on the weekend. Since moving to our new home in California, we've taken full advantage of the warm weather and great outdoor space! As a result we've been really active and on the go. We even drink green juice - whoa.

A few days ago we were sitting on our balcony playing Monopoly Deal after a day at the beach with our rescue-pup Rex (yes, we play cards - we're really cool. Also for those who don't know Monopoly Deal is the card version of Monopoly. Much more fun and a great way to converse and kick back - Anyway!) and were brain storming how to make cocktails using herbs from our herb garden, we came up with this new cocktail for the site. Our herb garden currently consists of mint, basil, cilantro, thyme and oregano, just in case you were curious (and it's thriving!). We decided to throw in some green juice because we've been on a healthy-kick recently.

Inspired by the cool weather, herb garden and our new(ish) very active lifestyle, we created, The Healthyish Martini - kind of like us. A little bit healthy, a little bit not, but still fresh, bright and cool like the weather we've been able to enjoy these past few months.
