Who doesn't love the fall? Everything feels like it's slowing down a little, days are getting shorter and cooler (sweater weather), holiday plans start up, did I mention sweater weather already?... the list goes on. We always try to take a fall trip to the mountains to go camping or airbnb. We love it all, but one fall thing we don't usually get into is Halloween. So far we've never had trick-or-treaters (having lived in NYC and condos most of our married life), we haven't gone to a halloween party or really haven't even watch Halloween movies - with the exception of Casper and Hocus Pocus of course. We do love the fun decorations and every year have our little pumpkin family on our mantle, but we don't really do Halloween. So, this year when my new office planned a pumpkin painting party it was a fun opportunity to get into the *spirit* (get it... spirit... Halloween... no? Alcohol.. spirit.. no?).

Thus, the Hibiscus Harvest Moon! A fun and really tasty cocktail for our Halloween pumpkin party that is great for small batches or large batches featuring fall spices, spiced rum, hibiscus, prosecco, orange and pomegranate juice.
